Sno Cones on the steps

Pretty cool when your neighbors have a sno cone stand! $6 well spent for 3 Cones. Penelope, Naveen and Freya thought those kids were the luckiest kids in the world to have a sno come machine. They may pool their allowance to get one….or a ferret.*

* ferret has been discussed but will never be approved!

Fun with cousins!

Thanks to Nidhi, Arjun and Meher for visiting us, we had a great time. The kids really enjoyed hanging out with their cousins. I included all of the photos in chronological order so you can see the effort Arjun put forth in trying to include Harry in the photo!

“Naveen’s Trail”

Naveen was lucky enough to be pulled aside at rock climbing class to be the first to try a new climb. As he was the first to climb it, he got to name it.

Naveen: “Mom, I got to name a climb at rock climbing today!”

Mom: “So what did you name it?”

Naveen: “Naveen’s Trail”

Mom: ” I’m surprised, I thought you would have named it chameleon’s way or lizard crawl or something like that”

Naveen: “Are you crazy?!! I want my name on it so when my friend Mateo goes there and sees it his head will explode!”

Move over Versace…

“Hey Dad, are you going to use that tissue paper I wrapped your Father’s Day present in? Oh, so you don’t need it? Ok, I’ll be back in a minute!”

(ps no help from any other person was used…. she showed up minutes later “dressed” like this)

Birding

Birding with the new binoculars from grandma Laureen.

Naveen: “I want to go visit Grandma”

Me: “oh really? Why?”

Naveen: “to see what other cool things she has laying around.”

Snow Cones

Purchased from the Rockefeller children who live around the corner and had a snow cone stand.

My kids: “Mom, they are so lucky to have a snow cone stand! They must be rich!”

Me: silent
