​​​​​​We took the day off from skiing and while driving saw a porcupine.  It was huge! At least a foot long.  He’s in the center of the top pic–I zoomed in to point him out in the bottom pic.  Freya sleeping in a bed… at the wrong end!Dad and Penelope in the bubble lift. Height check 2017.

I’m just catching up on some blog posts. But this is what Naveen and his best friend were thankful for at Thanksgiving time.

Freya got a new doll for Christmas and she loves to dance to the music that it sings.  ​

Here are two projects Penelope did so far in 1st grade.   

The first is a drawing of something she did this summer.  She chose to draw about her boat trip on Uncle Stanley’s boat. 
The second was a project explaining why she likes this particular book that she brought into school.  (It reads: I love fairies.  One of the fairies helped the frog with his tadpoles.)

Today was Penelope’s first day of 1st grade.  She likes her new teacher and was happy to see her friends. 

Last week we went up to see Grandma Laureen. One day we went for a boat trip with Grandma Laureen on Uncle Stanley and Aunt Sylvia’s boat.  Everyone got a chance to be captain!  Be sure to watch the videos!!!​​

Some cute photos from the beach. Penelope and Naveen built a giant birds nest out of driftwood and that’s what the 3 of them are standing in in several of the photos. 

Freya inspired to paddle board like some other people on the beach…

Last night, the whole fam went to the Wellfleet drive-in movie theater to catch the latest Ice Age movie. Freya slept in her car seat while Penelope and Naveen climbed up to the front seats to watch with Mom and Dad. Our new favorite movie theater.

One day around nap time I found Freya had set herself up for a nap… Complete with one of here doll’s pacifiers! Check out the videos.  ​

When we were in Jamaica Penelope would pet Freya’s head until she fell asleep in the car on the way home from the beach. Here is a video and some pictures of her trying to get Freya to nap for me at home.  ​

Yesterday was our full first day in Cape Cod.  Here are some videos of Penelope and Naveen polishing off 1.5 lbs of steamed clams.   They have the technique down pat!​
