I love my antique rocker but lately I’ve been playing a bit rough with it. Mom decided to get me something a bit more sturdy to sit on. Here’s my new chair. I use it as a means to climb on any and everything in the family room…. it doubles as a great step!
Here I am munching away on some cheddar flavored snacks….I have a very particular way of eating these….
I just love going to Stew Leonard’s. It’s my favorite shopping experience. Watch me be-bop to the Country Animal Jamboree!

Here I am having a plate of Swedish meatballs. Yum! I really enjoyed the mac and cheese there as well.
Tonight Mom and I went out for a dinner date at Shake Shack. Mom got two burgers as she didn’t want to share hers. Of course food always looks better when it’s not yours…. so I had to have Mom’s burger.

Today mom and I took a second field trip to Stepping Stones, a museum for children. It might be my favorite place on Earth.
I was so pooped that I fell asleep in the car on the way home…..

I was tired from exerting myself and snuggled with a giant stuffed dog.
I whipped up a tasty meal in the kitchen!
Grandma was out for Aunt Lisbeth’s baby shower and brought me this great bench. I demand to sit on it whenever I’m in the yard…. and sometimes I see it from the family room window and feel the urge to go out and sit on it!
Tonight I had my first quesadilla– refried beans and cheese.
Since this food format was new to me I had to inspect it.
But how does it taste?

Pretty good! I ate all of the filling.
I’ve been very hungry this summer. Here is a quick list of things I’ve eaten.
I snatched this tomato off the counter and rook a big bite out of it before mom caught me.
I dug through this bag in search of raspberries.
I ate corn on the cob. Naked.
I ate yogurt.
I ate a cupcake my new sitter made for me. I also licked the wrapper.
Today mom took me to a small beach 1 mile from our house. She was going to take more pictures but I put my hands in my mouth right after she snapped this one!

We started the day in regal fashion–dad schlepped out to get us some bagels, lox and cream cheese. I ate half of mom’s bagel. I love lox!!

This was the last day of getting our floors done. Phew!
Dad took Friday off since it was the Fourth of July weekend and we went out to Tabouli Grill for lunch. That’s hummus on my forehead.
Then we went out for a swim.

Then we played in the basement for a while.
We’re getting close to being done with the floors. After running a bunch of errands we played in mom and dad’s bedroom.

Today they put down a coat of poly-the first of 3 so again our goal was to stay out of the house.
First we went to lunch in town and ate on a patio overlooking main street.
After a few more errands I napped in the backyard.
Then mom and I inspected her garden and since I love flowers she picked me a chive flower…which soon ended up in my mouth. I liked it and nibbled on it several times!
