They stained our floors today and it was very smelly. Mom and I hightailed it out of the house.
First stop was Whole Foods. We decided to have lunch there. I tried a grape leaf. Didn’t love it.

After an al fresco nap in my stroller under a tree I played by the pool.

Peekaboo!

Then we headed inside as it looked like rain.

I sat between mom’s legs in bed and caught up on my fav show Franny’s Feet.

Lastly I went for a dip in the pool with dad. First order of business? Pee in the pool while standing on the top step. I was dying to go in so mom stripped me down and dad went in in his shorts. (will post video soon)

We’re getting a couple of floors refinished this week. Today was day 1 of 4. Today I slept like a rock for two hours while they noisily sanded and put in some spiffy wood grates. As soon as I woke up mom whisked us off to lunch where I ate some grilled cheese. I’m getting two more teeth and the Advil had worn off so I couldn’t be coaxed to smile.

Then to continue on our quest to preserve our hearing and keep out of the house we went to Costco to stock up on birdseed for my feathered friends.

My poodle was so scared by the noise that he made himself at home in my house.

I’m here, now I’m there…nope I’m over there. Look at me go!

I’ve learned how to give kisses though dad says I need to get trained out of giving the open mouthed kind by the time school starts!

Mom and dad took me to the beach for a little sun and sand. I only ate a little sand by mistake when I went to eat a shell!

Here I am having my first taste of lobster at a restaurant by the shore in Norwalk. Dad took the week off and we had a blast!

I woke up on the wrong side of the crib after my morning nap. Why did mom have to flash the camera in my eyes!?

Fortunately I was able to turn the day around by lunching on a chicken burrito and some watermelon and practicing my new tune: la la la la la (that’s a black bean on my chin)

Mom and Dad had the entertainment center removed today and put up a temporary stand for the TV to sit on. I can now reach the cable box and have learned a valuable skill.

Grandpa W was doing some stretching and left his wallet on the coffee table…so I decided to borrow some cash. I don’t think he’ll mind.

He seems to carry mostly 20s. Where are the Benjamins??

And then I had dinner!

Mom took me out for a burger yesterday. I ate mostly healthy food and had a little bit of cheeseburger…. it seems to be the only form of meat I will eat lately. When fed meat at home I just throw it on the floor.

Er….I mean Ollie’s new bed. It’s oh so comfy!!

Grandpa W sent me this neat bubble machine. Ollie and I were shocked by the quantity of bubbles… but then I found the bubble containers and decided to see if I could crawl while holding them.

Here I am talking up a storm…

Here I am going to town on Mom’s burrito. Of course I had my own bits of burrito on my tray but it really tastes better when eaten in its original form.

After we got back from lunching at Southport Brewing Company with some of our friends we came back to play in the yard with Ollie. Here are some photos and videos of me sampling all that the lawn has to offer.
