Holy Snow!

On Wednesday I experienced my first Nor’Easter of 2011! We were all excited because dad got to work from home that day. (Of course we later regretted our excitement when our kitchen ceiling started to leak due to the 18 inches of snow residing on our roof!)

Practice makes perfect

Today has been a landmark day of firsts for me — first spaghetti bolognese, first playing in the snow, and first time practicing crawling!!!

Here are two videos of me trying it out. These are the third and fourth attempts (mom ran to get the video camera after the first two.) Unfortunately my first two attempts left me a bit happier than these… I was pooped from all of the exertion!

My first snow!

We’re Having a mini snow storm today so mom decided it was time for me to get bundled up to experience the snow first hand.

Here I am, a real life snow angel. Am I catching some flakes there with my tongue?

Yes! And they are quite tasty!

This is just a small taste of more photos to come! We had Jamie Collins over in mid December to take a second round of photos of me (the first was back in August of 2010.) Are these amazing or what!?? Mom and Dad have about 100 more that are equally adorable to sort through!

A mensch for a day

Today I took mom out to lunch at Essa Bagel. I was fascinated by the chandeliers there! At the end of lunch a little girl came to see me. She asked if my hair was soft and then climbed on to the bench behind me and petted my head. Mom thought it was adorable!

My first happy meal!

They may be banning these out West, but in my New York city apartment they are still legal! For my first meal I had a mix of bananas, rice cereal and milk. It was a delicious combination that I happily ate off of mom’s finger, greedily pulling it to my mouth! Of course I do like to chew on her finger so that makes me extra happy!
