Day 3: On to ‘Old Paree’

We finished our visit to Brugge with a boat tour along its beautiful canals.

Writing in our journals while we waited for the boat:

Some photos from the boat ride:

We took an afternoon high speed train back to Paris, checked into our apartment in the 16th and then hit the town for dinner in a nearby brassiere. The older kids loved escargots and tartare, while it was steak frites for the younger two!

Brugge Day 2

We slept in and started our day off with a delicious breakfast at our hotel.

Then we walked the streets of Bruges and toured several historic sites.

We visited the 800 year old St John’s hospital as well. And of course ate ice cream and walked by some of the town’s canals.
